Singapore General Hospital
Underground services detection and trial trenching works for the proposed New National Dental Centre Singapore at Singapore General Hospital (SGH).
The project site is located at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), in the central region of Singapore. SGH is the largest and oldest hospital in Singapore, with a history dating back to 1821. The site location is a live environment, thus it is important to keep patients, staffs and the public safe from infection, noise, vibration and life safety problems during our project. The site area was large, thus we deployed sufficient teams to complete the project on time. As the location was operational ever since 1830s, many underground cables, pipes were historical and had deteoriated with age, hence more attention were given to these services. Careful and safe trial trenching was carried out to physically locate water services, power and telecommunication services along Second Hospital Avenue and Third Hospital Avenue.
